A replica of 'Friends' Central Perk coffee shop opens in Manhattan
Fans of the show Friends crowded into a temporary coffee shop that duplicates the Central Perk setting from the hit TV show.
Here's an unexpected perk for TV fans who will be in New York City during the next month: They can visit a replica of the famed Central Perk coffeehouse from the hit show Friends.
The temporary cafe -- which will serve up free java and display Friends memorabilia through Oct. 18 -- is from Eight O'Clock Coffee and Warner Bros. It opened in conjunction with the 20th anniversary of the show's series premiere, which was Sept. 22, 1994.
