5 things you need to know this weekend

1. Music's biggest stars align for the Grammys

If you missed Katy Perry's fearless performance at the Super Bowl last Sunday, you can watch her perform her latest song, By the Grace of God, at the Grammy Awards this weekend. Other star-studded performances will include, John Legend and Common, Eric Church and Pharrell Williams. According to president and CEO of Recording Academy, it is sure to be a night of social commentary on issues and concerns for many artists. 2. 35 years later, the Miracle stands

Do you believe in miracles? Well, the 1980 U.S. men's hockey team certainly did. Thirty-five years ago on Saturday, they defied the odds and defeated the heavily-favored — and Cold War rivals — Soviet Union. "And fireworks from the medal-awarding ceremonies just concluding lit up the sky with the golds, reds and greens that matched the many colors worn by the crowd which chanted, "USA! USA! USA!" wrote Richard Benedetto as he reflected on the win.

3. TurboTax hopes to end its rough week on a positive note

After a rough end to the week, TurboTax is hoping it can win back its customers' trust. Amid news of fraud and stolen information that broke on Friday, the company wants its fix of a previous software glitch to deflect some of its negative attention. Those who bought the Deluxe version of the product had an issue with some of its functionality, so starting Saturday, they're allowing its users to upgrade their software for free. We'll see if this can smooth things over.

4. Your zombie fix is back

If music celebrities don't satisfy you, maybe some zombies will. AMC's post-apocalyptic world of The Walking Dead is back for the second half of season five. According to Andrew Lincoln, this is sure to be the darkest point of the show so far. With growing ratings and addicted fans, the show will not be coming to a close anytime soon, but will Rick Grimes, Andrew's character make it to the end of the season? In a world where evil is winning, will good prevail? Paste BN has your sneak peeks and interview with Lincoln.

5. RadioShack's closing doors could mean big bargains

For the tech week roundup, RadioShack will be having major blowout deals this weekend, after filing for bankruptcy protection this Thursday. The company's stock plummeted this week, while the brand will begin to cut 50% of its stores. Fortunately, the brand will not disappear altogether, but will be co-partnering with Sprint. According to a creditor with RadioShack's largest stockholder, Standard General, the brand hopes to further burnish Sprint's presence.
