Watch newborn hippo take a dip with mom
A baby hippopotamus was born at the San Diego Zoo. Zoo staff was able to shoot video of the calf's mother, Funani, teaching her new baby how to swim.

A new addition to the San Diego Zoo made its debut, and boy was it cute. There's just something about a mom and a new baby that tugs the heartstrings -- even when the species is known for being less than friendly (just ask this boat of tourists).
