Details sought on Planned Parenthood shooter's motive; victims remembered
Police this weekend were trying to determine why a middle-aged gunman in hunting gear allegedly went on a wild shooting spree inside a Planned Parenthood clinic Friday, killing three people, including a police officer. "We don't have any information on this individual's mentality, or his ideas or ideology," said Lt. Catherine Buckley, spokeswoman for the Colorado Springs Police Department. One of the victims was police officer Garrett Swasey, 44, a married father of two who served as a leader in his church and competed years before as a figure skater. On Saturday, President Obama released a statement calling for tighter controls on "weapons of war." "This is not normal," Obama said. "We can't let it become normal. If we truly care about this — if we're going to offer up our thoughts and prayers again, for God knows how many times, with a truly clean conscience — then we have to do something about the easy accessibility of weapons of war on our streets to people who have no business wielding them. Period. Enough is enough."

Egypt says 90% chance of hidden rooms in Tut tomb
Archaeologists exploring the 3,300-year-old mausoleum said Saturday there's a 90% chance that King Tut's gold-filled burial chamber leads to additional rooms that may well contain the remains of Queen Nefertiti. High resolution, infrared and radar-based imaging of Tut's tomb indicate the possibility of a corridor that may lead to another burial chamber. After extensive testing over the past three days, Egyptian antiquities minister Mamdouh el-Damaty said Saturday that the findings will be sent to Japan for a month-long analysis before the search is resumed.
