These are the 15 most tourist-friendly destinations
The World Economic Forum’s Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Report 2017 released Wednesday ranks the most tourist-friendly places to travel around the globe. This year, Japan and the United Kingdom leapt ahead of the U.S. in the 387-page report compiled every other year.
The U.S. kept the same score as in 2015 and rated high in air transportation, exceptional tourist infrastructure and access to vast natural and cultural resources. But it lost ground in the appeal of its natural resources, and the report urged more investment in ground infrastructure.
