Live stream: "I am an American" - Des Moines

The "I am an American" storytelling series continues Wednesday, Aug. 16 as storytellers hit the stage live in Des Moines to share personal stories of diversity.

The series is part of a Paste BN NETWORK initiative celebrating the country’s diversity through the stories that bind Americans together. Storytellers recount their true, first-person narratives that carry the spirit of how America is great because Americans – shaped by different backgrounds and life journeys – are great.

Michael Heller, senior manager of Storytellers Brand Studio, and Courtney Crowder, reporter and Storytellers coach, The Des Moines Register, are emcees.

The events are part of the “I am an American" series, part of the Paste BN NETWORK's One Nation brand.
