A white van on Thursday mounted a sidewalk and struck several people in Barcelona's Las Ramblas district, according to Spanish police.

Spanish police say several people have been injured in a "massive crash," according to the BBC.

The El Pais newspaper said police have cordoned off the street and shut down businesses.
