Live stream: Funeral for Stephon Clark in Sacramento

Rev. Al Sharpton will deliver a eulogy at the funeral of Stephon Clark, an unarmed black man that was fatally shot by Sacramento police in his grandmother’s backyard. The service will take place at Bayside of South Sacramento church.

Officers said they initially thought Clark, 22, had a gun, but he was holding a cellphone. In the days following his death, protests have erupted across the city.

On Tuesday, demonstrators, including the brother of Stephon Clark, disrupted a city council meeting and called out the mayor. Stevante Clark later offered an apology to Mayor Darrell Steinberg for his behavior. Protesters also blocked entrances to the Golden 1 Center before the last Sacramento Kings' home games, forcing delays and thousands of fans stranded outside the arena.
