And then there were 10: Democratic debate features smaller field
The top Democratic presidential candidates face off Thursday night at Texas Southern University in Houston for the party's third debate. This time around, only 10 of the 20 candidates were able to meet the party's requirements of at least 2% support in four polls and contributions from at least 130,000 individual donors, with at least 400 from 20 states. This debate is also the first in which polling front-runner Joe Biden and top rival Elizabeth Warren will face each other. The debate will air at 8 p.m. ET on ABC News and Univision and will stream on ABCNews.com. George Stephanopoulos, David Muir and Linsey Davis of ABC, and Jorge Ramos of Univision will moderate.

Trump to visit Baltimore, the city he called 'rat-infested'
He called it a "rat and rodent infested mess" where "no one would want to live" — but on Thursday, President Donald Trump will make his way to Baltimore for a U.S. House of Representatives retreat for Republican lawmakers. Trump made waves in July when he criticized the city and his political adversary, Rep. Elijah Cummings, on Twitter. Cummings, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, had decried the administration's treatment of migrants at the U.S.-Mexican border. Trump followed by blasting Baltimore and Cummings, whom he called "racist" without explanation.

Taco Bell introduces new vegetarian menu
While Taco Bell isn't jumping on the alternative meats bandwagon, the Mexican fast-food chain is rolling out its "not-so-new 'new' vegetarian menu." Starting Thursday Taco Bell will have its "first-ever dedicated in-store vegetarian menu board" and is introducing two new menu items. The boards will list the new Black Bean Crunchwrap Supreme and new Black Bean Quesarito, 7-Layer Burrito and Bean Burrito. The latter offering is definitely not new to the menu or customers — it's been served for 50 years and is the chain's second best-seller.
