Trump to visit Tennessee in wake of deadly tornadoes
President Donald Trump will travel to Tennessee on Friday to view the damage from the devastating tornadoes that struck the Nashville area early Tuesday. The storm killed at least 25 people and damaged or destroyed dozens of homes, businesses, schools and churches across four counties. "Our hearts are full of sorrow for the lives that were lost," Trump said while speaking at the National Association of Counties on Tuesday. Like presidents before him, Trump has often traveled to sites of disaster and tragedy in the role of "comforter-in-chief." He has visited cities that have suffered mass shootings and reviewed hurricane damage in Puerto Rico, Florida, Texas and the Carolinas.

Lori Vallow, mom of missing kids, to appear in court
Lori Vallow, the Idaho mother whose children have been missing since September, is scheduled to appear before a judge Friday after she was extradited from Hawaii. For the past three months, Vallow and her new husband have been living in Hawaii with no sign of the missing kids, Joshua "JJ" Vallow, 7, and Tylee Ryan, 17. Lori Vallow, 46, is charged with felony child desertion charges, misdemeanor contempt of court and other charges. Police in Rexburg, Idaho, said in December they believe "that Joshua and Tylee's lives are in danger." The case is tied to several suspicious deaths across multiple states and allegations of cultlike religious beliefs.
SpaceX to launch resupply mission to space station
SpaceX is targeting 11:50 p.m. ET Friday for a launch of the company's Falcon 9 rocket carrying a Dragon 1 spacecraft on a resupply mission to the International Space Station. Blasting off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, Dragon 1 will deliver over 5,600 pounds of supplies and payloads including materials to support dozens of science investigations onboard the station. Friday's mission will mark the last time SpaceX uses its Dragon 1 capsule before retiring it to make way for its updated Dragon 2, which is certified to carry humans.

Hulu series takes deep dive into the life of Hillary Clinton
With a resume as long as Hillary Clinton's, it's no wonder it took 35 hours to unpack it. On Friday, the four-part docuseries "Hillary," featuring extensive interviews with the two-time presidential candidate, feminist icon and perpetual lightning rod, streams on Hulu. The documentary is a warts-and-all look at Clinton's life, from her childhood in a Chicago suburb to the 2016 presidential election, through her tumultuous campaign and shocking loss to Donald Trump. Clinton tells Paste BN that filmmaker Nanette Burstein sold her on the idea of placing her story in a historical context. "Although it was incredibly intense, it was worthwhile because I was being interviewed by somebody who had really digested everything there was to ask me," she said.

Newest Pixar creation 'Onward' magically appears in theaters
Pixar's latest animated creation "Onward" is similar to the studio's previous films in that it's fun, features big stars in Marvel superheroes Tom Holland and Chris Pratt and it isn't afraid to make you cry. But as Paste BN's Brian Truitt wrote (★★★ out of four) in a review, "there's a different style at play than the usual super-slick Pixar cartoon." Instead, "Onward" (rated PG), in theaters nationwide Friday, "enlists a heap of brotherly love and a freewheeling, retro sense of humor" and presents a previously magical landscape that's evolved into modern suburbia. Holland stars as teen elf Ian who is gifted with a magical staff and enchantment to spend 24 hours with the father who died before Ian was born. Pratt voices big brother Barley, with whom Ian goes on an epic quest after their spell goes awry and only half of their dad is conjured.
