Driver captures train derailment in Verdigris, Oklahoma

A driver and passenger at a railroad crossing witnessed a train derail right in front of them in Verdigris on Tuesday.
Jake and Sarah Johnson Powell were in their vehicle with a phone out to record the moment on video.
“Oh my God,” Sarah can be heard saying in the clip.
“Yup, that just happened,” Jake replies.
No hazardous materials spilled as a result of the derailment, Scotty Stokes of Rogers County Emergency Management told Fox 23.
The crossing was closed for several hours but Verdigris Police say the crossing is now back open.
