Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff will visit Savannah on Thursday during Georgia's early voting period.

For the 2024 Presidential Election, Former President Donald Trump is the nominee on the Republican side while Vice President Kamala Harris is on the Democratic side.

During Emhoff's visit to Savannah, he hopes to encourage Savannah residents to cast their ballots for his wife, Harris, and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

Early voting in Georgia has already begun this week and will continue until Friday, Nov. 1.

Who is Doug Emhoff?

Emhoff, 60 years-old, is an American Lawyer and also the husband of Vice President Harris, making him the first Second Gentleman of the United States.

Georgia played a key role in electing Joe Biden president in 2020 when it flipped from red to blue by just under 12,000 votes. With the polling numbers as tight as they are, the candidates and their campaigns are finding opportunities to visit the Peach State.
