It is well-known billionaire Elon Musk has several children with multiple partners, but what may not be so notable is who those children are.
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO has kept his children primarily out of the spotlight, although recently drew ire from former partner, singer Grimes, over their 4-year-old son's increased media exposure. Musk's son X, whose full name is X Æ A-Xii, accompanied his dad to the White House during a recent visit with Trump.
While his remaining children have stayed out of the spotlight, one in particular has made her presence — and her complicated relationship with her famous father — pretty well known. On Thursday, in an interview with Teen Vogue, Musk's estranged daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, had some choice words to say about her estranged father, and spoke about life as a young transgender woman. Who is Vivian Wilson?
Vivian Jenna Wilson, 20, is Musk's oldest daughter (she also has a twin, Griffin). In 2022, she came out as transgender and was successfully granted a name and gender change in California. She named her dislike for Musk as her reason for the name change, instead opting to use her mother, Justine Wilson's, maiden name.
She doesn't mince words in a new Teen Vogue profile when speaking of her estranged father, whom she called a "pathetic man-child," and characterized he and his associates as having "the charisma of a soaking bathrobe."
On his end, Musk told psychologist and social media influencer Jordan Peterson during a 2024 interview his daughter had been "killed by the woke mind virus," and pushed anti-transgender talking points. He also posted that Wilson was "born gay and slightly autistic," traits he said contributes to gender dysphoria, and that as a child, she would "pick out clothes for me to wear like a jacket and tell me it was ‘fabulous!’”
Who is Vivian Wilson mother?
Justine Wilson, a Canadian author, was Musk's first wife whom he married in January 2000. Wilson shares several children with Musk. She told Marie Claire magazine Musk was dismissive of her career ambitions, had told her he was the "alpha" in their relationship and had pressured her to be his "trophy wife." In September 2008, she announced she and Musk were getting a divorce.
Who are Vivian Jenna Wilson’s siblings?
She has four siblings: Twin brother, Griffin, and Kai, Saxon and Damian, triplets born in January 2006. Griffin largely stays out of the spotlight, but according to Musk, accompanied his father to an event in Miami in 2004, a post on X states.
Wilson took aim at her father's ever-expanding list of offspring, telling Teen Vogue, "I will say I do not actually know how many siblings I have, if you include half-siblings."
