Filing taxes got you hungry? Here's some tax day food deals, discounts in NJ today
It's finally Tax Day and you've done the hard work to fill out the forms — so now it's time to celebrate with some food freebies today.
Unless you've filed for free, it's likely tax prep may have taken a bite out of your wallet, but luckily these New Jersey restaurant chains, donut shops and convenience stores are offering some pretty sweet deals to conclude a successful tax season.
Here's where you can snag some deals, discounts and freebies in New Jersey:
BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse
On Tax Day, get $10 off any $40 order for takeout or delivery. There are at least two BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse locations in New Jersey.
Buffalo Wild Wings
Throughout April, spend $15 online, in-app or in store and score a free sandwich. The offer is available for new and existing rewards members. There are 29 locations in New Jersey.
Burger King
On April 15, Royal Perks members can get a 1-cent cheeseburger with any purchase of $1 or more through April 20 at participating restaurants, on the BK App or order ahead through BK.com. Be sure to activate the deal through the "Offers" tab on the BK App and online before placing the order.

California Pizza Kitchen
California Pizza Kitchen is offering $10 off a purchase of $40 or more today if you sighn up for CPK Rewards. The offer is valid for dine-in and takeout. New Jersey has three locations.
Freddy's
Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers customers who have a Freddy's reward app downloaded and make at least a $1 purchase today will earn double points on their purchase, which can be redeemed on future purchases. There are four Freddy's locations in New Jersey.

Participating Hooters locations are offering select appetizers for $4.15 when customers apply their HootClub rewards in the Hooters app at checkout.
