More fake mugshots of Donald Trump shared online following his Georgia arrest | Fact check
The claim: Image shows Donald Trump's mugshot from Fulton County Jail
An Aug. 24 Instagram post (direct link, archive link) shows a screenshot of a post shared on X, formerly Twitter, with a picture of former President Donald Trump stamped with the Fulton County Sheriff's Department logo.
The X post's caption talks about different groups' reactions to Trump's mugshot.
The Instagram post garnered more than 1,000 likes in three days. A previous version of the claim posted by liberal commentator Brian Tyler Cohen garnered more than 5,000 shares in one day before it was deleted. Similar versions of the claim have been shared on Instagram.

The image is digitally altered. Trump's real mugshot has been shared by numerous news outlets and shows him posing differently and wearing a plain red tie.
Image shows fake mugshot
Trump was arrested at Fulton County Jail on Aug. 24 after a Georgia grand jury indicted him and 18 of his allies for allegedly trying to steal the 2020 presidential election in the state.
The mugshot shared in the Instagram post isn't real, however.
The real mugshot of the former president has been published by numerous news outlets and even Trump himself on his X account.
His posture and tie color slightly differ in the real mugshot, and the sheriff department's logo is much smaller.
The altered mugshot was created using a picture captured by Reuters on Nov. 20, 2020.

Paste BN has previously debunked several other fake mugshots of Trump.
Paste BN reached out to the user who shared the post for comment but did not immediately receive a response.
The claim was also debunked by PolitiFact, Full Fact and Reuters.
