The claim: Image shows Harris campaign post about conservative account's ‘hatred, racism and bigotry'
A Nov. 23 Instagram post (direct link, archive link) shows what appears to be a screenshot of an X post from the account for Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign.
The text of the purported post accuses a conservative social media account of “spewing out hatred, racism, and bigotry” and using a profane insult “which is uncalled for and sexist.”
The Instagram post received more than 100 likes in nine days. Similar versions also circulated widely on Instagram.

The image is a fabrication. The X account that purportedly shared it does not exist.
Fabricated post attributed to nonexistent account
The supposed X screenshot resembles those shared by the account for Harris’ presidential campaign, with a profile image showing its logo and a blue badge indicating it is verified. The Instagram post’s caption urges readers to follow the conservative account mentioned in the post.

But the X post is not real. It’s a fabrication attributed to a nonexistent account.
The post was supposedly shared by the account @KamalaHQPress. But as of Nov. 29, there was no account with that username.
Harris’ official campaign account is @KamalaHQ. There is no record of that account sharing the post, which does not include a timestamp to indicate when it was shared. As of Nov. 29, that account had not posted anything since Harris lost the election to President-elect Donald Trump. Its most recent post was shared at 12:42 a.m. EST Nov. 6 and shows a video of former Louisiana Rep. Cedric Richmond speaking at Howard University and calling for patience during the vote-tabulation process.
Paste BN previously debunked similar false claims that images show posts from Harris attacking a pro-Trump knife company and from New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez decrying “blatant sexism” from a conservative website.
Paste BN reached out to several social media users who shared the image but did not immediately receive any responses.
