LA fires: New maps and pictures show thousands of homes left in ruins

Wildfires in Los Angeles have caused widespread devastation, destroying tens of thousands of homes. Although it may take months to assess the extent of the property damage fully, inspections are already in progress.
Preliminary maps from Los Angeles County provide detailed, building-by-building assessments of damage within the Eaton and Palisades fire perimeters. Updated daily, these maps provide information about the type of structure, such as commercial or residential, and specify whether it is a single-family or multifamily building. Each assessed building is accompanied by a photograph documenting the extent of the damage.
You can search for a property address to view the extent of the damage to the property. If no marker appears at the address, the property has not yet been inspected. This status may change as updates become available.

Buildings with more than 50% destruction are categorized as destroyed. Those with 26–50% damage are classified as having major damage, 10–25% as minor damage, and under 10% as affected.
