NOVA offers free child-abuse prevention training on 'Not on My Watch' Day
To curb child abuse and promote a training program designed to help eliminate it, the Bucks County commissioners declared Thursday “Not on My Watch” Day.
With the Network of Victim Assistance, the county is raising awareness about NOVA’s CSA Stoppers training. The training, currently administered in the form of a two-hour webinar, teaches participants to spot the often-hidden effects of child sexual abuse (CSA) and is offered for free to all who sign up.
NOVA aims to train 5% of Bucks County’s residents, about 25,000 people, through this initiative. Anyone interested in taking the training can sign up at www.novabucks.org/stopcsa.
