Kevin Bacon (the actor) breaks his silence on Kevin Bacon (the pig)

Two weeks after internet celebrity Kevin Bacon (the pig) went on the run, Kevin Bacon (the actor) has broken his silence.
Friday evening, the actor shared "Bring Kevin Bacon Home!" to his Threads account and Instagram story, with a link to an article about the footloose pig.
It's unclear if Kevin Bacon (the pig) has heard about the post, considering he's a pig and doesn't have access to a phone. The post by the slightly-more-famous actor is another example of how this story has traveled across the nation, recently being featured in People Magazine.
Kevin Bacon remains on the lam from his owner, Chelsea Rumbaugh. He first escaped just over two weeks ago on Oct. 14, after digging up a fencepost and cutting loose.

In recent posts on her Facebook page, Bring Kevin Bacon Home, Kevin has been coming home with increasing frequency, appearing to have become much more comfortable about her.
Almost a scene out of the movie "Footloose," Rumbaugh recently shared that she and Kevin have been caught up in a dance of sorts, where he comes towards her, she inches towards him, and then he backs away. Still, he has remained on her property and hasn't bolted as he had done in the past.
Ultimately, it seems Rumbaugh's strategy of making sure he feels as comfortable as possible on her property has been working to keep him around over the last two weeks. Rumbaugh has recently set some large traps on the property, and Kevin has come incredibly close to entering those traps.
