Jason Aldean and Donald Trump

Aldean was an avid supporter during Trump's re-election campaign. The two have been friendly since at least 2022 when Aldean posted on Instagram that he spent New Year's Eve at Trump's Florida home.

On July 18, Aldean and his wife, Brittany Kerr, sat beside Trump at the Republican National Convention. He also introduced Trump at an Oct. 23 rally in Georgia, his home state.

After an assassination attempt against Trump in Pennsylvania on July 13, Aldean dedicated his 2023 song "Try That in a Small Town" to Trump during a concert. Footage of the show was shared online on July 14, but there's no indication of when and where the concert was.

“President Trump is a friend of mine, so I want to send this next song out to him,” Aldean said, according to the video shared on social media. “We all know what’s going to happen come November, so it’s all good. Just goes to show you there’s a lot of (expletive) in the world, and that’s kind of what this song right here was about, so this one goes out to the pres[ident].”

Aldean also shared a photo on Instagram on July 14 showing Trump holding his fist in the air while he was being taken off stage after the assassination attempt.

“This is what a warrior looks like! This is MY guy,” Aldean wrote. “@realdonaldtrump we are thinking about (you) and praying for you and your family. God has a bigger plan for you my friend, and I think we all know what that is by now.”

Jason Aldean lives in Florida

Aldean has called Martin County home since Feb. 22, 2022, when he purchased a home on Hutchinson Island for $10.2 million. He then purchased a property next to his home on Aug. 14, 2023, for $2.68 million.
