Get a sneak peek at the Pacers' G-League's new home at Noblesville arena

The Noblesville Arena at Innovation Mile that will be home to the Indiana Pacers' G-League basketball team, the Noblesville Boom, will have a decidedly local flair.
The hometown's locker room is adorned with the slogan "In 49 states ... it's just basketball. But this is Indiana." The concession areas are called "Hometown Eats" and "Deer Creek Cafe."
Pacers Sports and Entertainment and Noblesville officials provided an advance tour of the arena July 30. It will officially open Aug. 8 for Mayor Chris Jensen's State of the City Address, followed by a ribbon-cutting.
The Boom, formerly the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, will play 25 home games at the $79 million, 3,400-seat arena that will also host concerts, sports tournaments and conventions. It has 100 suite seats and private rooms for other events.
The first concert will be Aug. 23 with the Pink Floyd tribute band, Signs of Life: The American Pink Floyd. On Sept. 26, the “I Love The 90’s Tour" will come to the arena. It features performances by Vanilla Ice, Tone Loc, Young MC and Naughty by Nature.
The arena is near Interstate 69 and 141th Street, east of Olio Road. The Innovation Mile is a planned 600-acre campus that seeks to attract medical science and light industrial manufacturing companies.
