President Donald Trump headed to Fort Bragg: What to know if you're going
President Donald Trump, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll are scheduled to visit Fort Bragg on Tuesday, June 10, as part of a commemoration of the Army’s 250th birthday celebration.
The Bragg event is a precursor to a massive military parade June 14 in Washington, D.C. that will include thousands of soldiers, massive tanks and artillery, and aircraft, according to reporting by Paste BN. The date also happens to be Trump’s 79th birthday, which the administration has said is coincidental.
Fort Bragg Public Affairs announced June 9 that non-essential employees will be released from duty at noon June 10, but noted that all post Child Development Centers will remain open "to support Soldiers and families who are supporting or attending the Army’s 250th Birthday celebration on the installation."

The event is open to the public. Those without a military ID can register for access to Fort Bragg by visiting pass.aie.army.mil/steps/branch_selection.
