Can you handle the cuteness? Panda twins turn 1
The panda twins from Zoo Atlanta are celebrating their first birthday! Let's take a look back at their first adorable year.
Happy birthday Mei Lun and Mei Huan!
Zoo Atlanta's famous panda twins turned 1 on July 15, and the zoo had a special celebration in their honor.
The pandas' caregivers crafted two ice cakes with banana pieces inside. The cakes were shaped like the number 1.
Mei Lun and Mei Huan are the fourth and fifth cubs for Lun Lun and Yang Yang. Their three older siblings — Mei Lan, Xi Lan and Po — now live at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in China.
