How Apple Watch compares with other wearable timepieces

Apple's smartwatch — Apple Watch — will be available in early 2015. How it compares with other "wearable" computing devices on the market:

The LG G Watch ($229) has voice command operations and is integrated with Google Now.

The Pebble Watch ($149) and Pebble Steel ($249) are supported by iPhone and Android but has no touch screen.

The Moto 360 by Motorolo ($250) is an Android smartwatch and is integrated with Google Now.

The Samsung Gear 2 ($299) has an infrared sensor that allows the watch to be used as a TV remote. The watch is only supported by the Galaxy phone.

The Apple Watch (three versions starting at $349) has a color touch screen, Siri assistant and walkie-talkie functionality. It's supported by iPhone 5 or later.
