Watch two Suez Canal container ships collide
Container ships are like the brontosauruses of maritime transportation. You don't want to see two of them collide.
That's what happened in the Suez Canal on Monday, when two container ships had a dust-up of enormous proportions after one of them had technical problems. A Google Plus page belonging to "PoliceinPortSaid," which says it's not a police site, showed a video of the two ships.
You can watch it here:
According to Reuters, the two ships collided at the north end of the canal, blocking the key transit route. The crash, between the German-flagged MV Colombo Express and the Singaporean-flagged MV Maersk Tanjong, knocked three containers off the Colombo Express. The German ship sustained a 65-foot dent in its side. There weren't any reports of casualties.
