Oops! Drunk woman mistakes jail for bar

Easy mistake? An intoxicated woman thought she was pulling up to a bar when in fact she had rolled up to a jail.

The 39-year-old woman told a sheriff's deputy she thought the Van Buren County jail was a bar where she was going to pick up her boyfriend, reports the Associated Press.

The deputy saw the woman parking in the jail lot and noticed she smelled like alcohol and appeared drunk, AP reports.

A breathalyzer showed the woman's blood alcohol content was more than twice the 0.08% legal limit in Michigan. She is expected to face drunken driving charges, according to the AP.
