Former Reading Rainbow's LeVar Burton reads 'Go the (bleep) to Sleep'

Former Reading Rainbow host LeVar Burton gave a reading of the 2011 children's book Go the (bleep) to Sleep this weekend to a group of adults.

The video posted to YouTube on Oct. 25 caught on, and so far has been viewed over 641,000 times.

It was part of a charity event.

"This is one of my favorite children's stories," Burton said before reading the book.

The popular book was written by Adam Mansbach, with illustrations by Richardo Cortes. The book follows a parent's desperate efforts to put a child to sleep, with audio versions from Samuel L. Jackson and Werner Herzog.
