Christmas Magi Limited Edition Forever stamp unveiled for holiday season
The U.S. Postal Service feels the spirit of Christmas.
It commemorates its new Christmas Magi Limited Edition Forever stamp Wednesday morning in a ceremony at Saint John's Church across from the White House in Washington, D.C.
"The stamp celebrates the biblical story of three visitors from the east who came bearing gifts of Jesus. The stamp art depicts the Magi atop camels near the summit of a small hill. Guiding them is a large, dazzling star," reads the official explanation.
In addition to the Christmas Magi stamp, new Forever stamp collections include Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Winter Fun and a two-stamp format of late basketball great Wilt Chamberlain.
