How to text when dating someone new
Just in time for Valentine's Day, we offer some tips on how to text somebody you are interested in after that first date.
Here are some tried and true strategies:
1. There is never a "right time" to text. Best to follow your instincts.
2. Be honest with your date and say you had a good time. (Can always end the night by asking if they got home OK).
3. Flash back to a funny moment during the night to start a short conversation via text.
4. If the first date was rough and you have no interest in having another one, be polite but direct about not wanting to see the person again. No need to let them wait and wonder.
5. If you do not know how to respond to something, throw out an emoji. Who doesn't love a moon face?
