Here's what the total solar eclipse looked like
Viewers in certain parts of Europe were treated to a total solar eclipse. Though it couldn't be seen everywhere, people from London to Egypt stopped what they were doing and tried to catch a glimpse of the rare event.

Certain spots in Europe Friday saw a total solar eclipse.
A total solar eclipse happens when the moon entirely obscures the sun from the Earth's view.
