Prep paradise: Lilly Pulitzer for Target lookbook is here


Ladies of Target, here is the colorful Lilly Pulitzer partnership you've been waiting for this season.

The collection, which features 15 exclusive prints created by Pulitzer artists, is a resort-wearing, green-juice drinking, prep's dream. Think sun and sand.

When the partnership was first announced in January, it garnered mixed reaction: Many were eager to learn that the upscale designer would be partnering with the affordable retailer, while others on social media argued the association would cheapen the Lilly Pulitzer brand following the death of the line's creator and namesake in 2013.

The American socialite and fashion designer did once say, "Palm Beach is a state of mind."

However, Target stood by their product, saying they take brand guidelines seriously.

"We worked hand-in-hand with the Lilly Pulitzer team to not only create an aesthetic, but also a value level that we're proud of," Joshua Thomas, a spokesman for Target, told Paste BN Network in January.

Beginning April 19, folks can snag up to 250 items, including shoes, accessories, cosmetics and home goods. How much do the items cost? The prices range from $2-$150.
