Watch the moment a kitten is flushed from a drain pipe
Firefighters in Mentor, Ohio rescued a stray kitten that fell and was stuck 15 feet from the end of a drain pipe. After they dug out the pipe and cut into it, the kitten was flushed out safely.

After much digging, crews rescued a stray kitten stuck about 15-feet deep in a pipe.
On Friday, Mentor Fire Department was called out to the Westport Independent Living shortly after 3 p.m. in Ohio.
The kitten fell into a PVC pipe drain that extended underneath the concrete drive.
Crews finally got the chance to flush the kitten out of the drain without harming it.
Staff from Westport Living took the kitten to the veterinarian for an evaluation.
