Hang ten! Or, hang sixty-six!
A new Guinness World Record has officially been set for most people riding on a surfboard. On Saturday in Huntington Beach, Calif., 66 surfers rode a wave together on a 42-foot surfboard.
The Orange County Registerreports surfers rode the behemoth board on a wave for 12 seconds and were cheered on by more than 5,000 spectators near the famous Huntington Beach Pier.
The Register reports the previous record was set by 47 surfers in Queensland, Australia, about a decade ago.
