The Rock saved puppy from drowning

The Rock has signed up to play a villain (or “anti-hero”) in the upcoming DC Comics adaptation of Shazam, but in real life he is 100% a superhero.
The star, who has been known to display heroic tendencies in the past, revealed on Instagram that he brought two French Bulldog puppies home over Labor Day weekend (excuse as as we AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW), and when he took them outside they both immediately jumped in his pool. While one of the pups was able to get his doggie paddle going, the other, whose adorable name is Brutus, sunk to the bottom.
The Rock, being The Rock and all, immediately jumped in the pool — clothes on, cell phone in pocket — to save the little guy. All was well that ended well, and now we have this adorable photo of a soaking-wet Rock holding two tiny puppies.
