Jessica Simpson says first marriage was a financial mistake

So they're definitely passed the Newlyweds stage.

Jackie of all trades Jessica Simpson appeared on CNBC's Closing Bell with Kelly Evans on Thursday. The designer shed some insight about her billion-dollar business and even one of her biggest financial mistakes (around the 3:15 mark).

"The biggest money mistakes? Hmm… I don't know. For some reason I thought of my first marriage."

Which sounds shady to us, but Evans said she hears that answer all the time.

"That's actually a common answer, believe it or not."

Yikes! Here's to having and holding up those prenups.
