Spa owners arrested amid prostitution investigation


GLEN BURNIE, Md. -- Two people were arrested on Friday in connection with possible prostitution activity at a spa in Glen Burnie, Md., according to police.

Anne Arundel County police said they received complaints regarding possible prostitution activity happening at the Shang Spa. On Friday, a detective posed as a customer and laid down an extra $100 for "additional services," according to the police report, WMAR-TV reported.  After the request for additional services, Qui Rong Zhang, 51, removed her clothing, according to police.

Zhang, 51, was arrested and charged with prostitution and assignation. Jun Zhun, 47, was arrested and charged with maintaining a building for the purpose of prostitution.
