Irish prime minister stuck in elevator for 10 minutes
Prime Minister of Ireland Enda Kenny was touring a new food plant on Thursday when the tour came to an unexpected stop.
Kenny and two of his cabinet ministers were trapped in an elevator at a food plant in Kildare, Ireland, for 10 minutes before they were freed, BBC reported.
Reporter Richard Chambers tweeted a string of amusing updates on the incident.
Ten minutes later, the men were freed from their iron prison.
Chambers tweeted that cabinet minister Jimmy Deenihan said the elevator was a "good meeting room."
At least the ordeal ended in the "beverage suite."
