Carson mocks media 'discoveries' on Facebook

Ben Carson took to Facebook Tuesday to mock the media for digging up inaccuracies in his biography, posting "breaking news" items like he once failed to replace a divot on a golf course and once entered a store through the "exit door."

The items reflect Carson's general response to stories revealing that he did not receive a scholarship offer to West Point — as he had claimed in his book — and that friends from his childhood do not recall the violent temper that he says he overcame through prayer.

Carson has argued that he is being targeted by "desperate" opponents looking for someway to discredit him.
