Wedding photographer Ashley Frantz shared what she says is "one of the most beautiful and difficult pictures I've ever been asked to do."
Her friend Amanda Crowe Freebird lost her daughter Azalee Mae Carroll Crow to cancer in 2013.
The bride was "heartbroken that her girl wouldn't be here to experience this new journey with her," Frantz said on Facebook on Dec. 13. The photos were taken in Louisiana.
"It was such an honor to be able to do this for her and I'm thankful God has given me a talent that I can use to make broken hearts just a tad less broken," Frantz said.
