Here's looking at you, kid. If you're looking to add a little old-fashioned romance to your Valentine's Day, this Casablanca-themed cocktail might be just right for you.
Gin starts off this themed drink made by Washington D.C.’s Compass Rose bartender Janelle Whisenant. Two different types of bitters add a little spice to the drink, and a hint of basil completes it.
Here's what you need to try this at home:
- 1.5 oz dry gin
- .5 oz fresh lemon juice
- .5 oz raspberry puree
- 1 dash Boston bitters
- 1 dash Orleans bitters
Shake over ice with basil and double strain into a martini glass.
