3 teens shot at bus stop in north St. Louis


ST. LOUIS — Three teenagers were shot Wednesday while waiting at a bus stop near a north St. Louis elementary school, police said.

According to police, two boys, ages 17 and 16, were shot in the leg, and a girl, 15 was shot in the stomach.

The teens were shot in a drive-by shooting.

The shooting at 7:40 a.m. CDT happened just blocks away from Walbridge Elementary School. Two of the victims went to the school for help, while the third went to a house.

According to police, the teens were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department detectives are looking for a light colored sedan.

St. Louis Police Maj. John Hayden said no one has been arrested, the Post-Dispatch reported.
