Twice the size of a football field: See world-record holding swing set

Yehaw! A 562-foot-long swing set now holds the Guinness World Record for longest swing set in the world.

The massive swing set, which is almost twice the size of a football field, was built by swing set manufacturer Backyard Discovery in partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County, Fla.

Almost five hundred volunteers built the S-shaped structure over three days, according to a statement from Backyard Discovery. 

“Once built and revealed, it allowed for 127 smiling kids to swing and 51 enthusiastic kids to slide simultaneously,” the company said in a statement.

The swing sets were donated to the families who attended the event.
