The World's Longest Yard Sale
Rain didn't deter buyers or sellers at the Covington portion of the World's Longest Yard Sale in MainStrasse Village.

Saws, costume jewelry, historic relics, clothes and more await bargain hunters at area spots along the World's Longest Yard Sale, an annual sale that stretches 690 miles from Michigan to Alabama along the U.S. 127 corridor.
The Highway 127 sale has grown dramatically in popularity every year since it started in 1987, even though it's only loosely organized and relies mostly on word of mouth.
It runs through Aug. 7.
