Young girls, babysitter drown in Colorado swimming pool

PUEBLO, Colo. --- Two young sisters and their 17-year-old babysitter died Monday afternoon after apparently drowning in a swimming pool.

Pueblo Police first heard about what happened at around 2:10 p.m. when they responded to the Pueblo Grande Village.

When officers arrived, they were told the victims – two sisters who were three and five-years-old, and the 17-year-old who was watching them -- had drowned.

CPR efforts by officers were unsuccessful.

Pueblo Police are investigating.
