Police search for teen abducted by father

BRUNSWICK, Ohio -- Officials are searching for an Ohio teen who was taken Monday by her biological father, who is a registered sex offender, according to authorities.

A statewide Amber Alert has been issued for Robin C. Roberts, 15, who was taken by William C. Roberts, 40, from a local K-Mart at 7:49 p.m. Monday.

William C. Roberts is a registered sex offender and has a history of drug use. He is 5'10" and weighs 220 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen driving a black Ford Ranger with license plate PJL4802, which was taken from another vehicle.

According to police, the suspect frequents the Ravenna area and has two warrants out for his arrest for drug paraphernalia.

Robin C. Roberts is 5'10" and weights 110 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.

According to court records, William C. Roberts has several identifying tattoos:

  • Left shoulder: Eagle's body with flames.
  • Left forearm: Tiger face.
  • Left arm: Mask with flames.
  • Chest: Heart with roses and the name "Jamie."
  • Right shoulder: Skull with grim reaper sword.
  • Right calf: Snake with dagger head.
  • Right forearm: Lion face.
  • Right arm: Panther with flames.
