Despite ice and snow surfers catch a wave in Sheboygan
Despite the heavy water-logged snow Tuesday and the mid-thirties temperatures, Sheboygan area surfers flocked to the lakefront to catch a wave.

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. — Florida's Surfing Santas have nothing on these Wisconsin's polar plungers.
If all you need is wind and waves for a great surf, it doesn't matter that it's January, the air temperature is hovering right around freezing or that the water in Lake Michigan is 37 degrees.
These surfers donned wetsuits, dodged ice and braved the elements with winds gusting above 20 mph Tuesday.
And this isn't the only time that hot-blooded surfer dudes decided to hang 10 in frigid weather. Some also were in the water Dec. 20 in Sheboygan.
