'Ginormous fondue pot': NASA astronaut gives rich description of Earth
Move over Neil Armstrong, NASA Astronaut Jack Fischer just uttered an instant classic.
Fischer took a moment from his spacewalk on the International Space Station to describe his view of Earth in the most colorful terms.
"A fondue pot," Fischer said from his spacesuit. "A ginormous fondue pot bubbling over with piping hot awesome sauce."
The statement was captured by mission control, which has been live streaming the spacewalk of Fischer and Peggy Whitson. It's the 200th spacewalk to be completed on the ISS.
Mission control responded to Fischer, saying, "Houston, it was only a matter of time before Jack Fischer would articulate awesome sauce to describe the view from 252 miles above the Earth."
