These are the most popular plastic surgeries, cosmetic procedures

Minimally invasive cosmetic procedures have increased by almost 200% since 2000, according to new data released by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
The most popular minimally invasive procedures — there were 15.7 million last year — include Botox, soft tissue fillers and chemical peels. Of the nearly 1.8 million cosmetic surgical procedures, breast augmentation, liposuction and nose reshaping topped the list.
Total U.S. cosmetic procedures saw a 2% increase from 2016 to 2017. There were 17.5 million surgical and minimally-invasive cosmetic procedures performed in 2017, according to ASPS data.

The ASPS also saw an 11% increase in breast reductions, up from 2016 when there was actually a decline.
“Breast reductions are consistently reported as one of the highest patient satisfaction procedures because it positively affects a woman’s quality of life," ASPS President Jeffrey E. Janis said in a statement. "It addresses both functional and aesthetic concerns."
Tummy tucks, body sculpting and non-invasive fat procedures also saw an increase, ASPS reports.
Top five cosmetic surgical procedures:
1. Breast augmentation (300,378 procedures, up 3%)
2. Liposuction (246,354 procedures, up 5%)
3. Nose reshaping (218,924 procedures, down 2%)
4. Eyelid surgery (209,571 procedures, approximately the same as 2016)
5. Tummy tuck (129,753 procedures, up 2%)
Top five cosmetic minimally invasive procedures:
1. Botulinum Toxin Type A (7.23 million procedures, up 2%)
2. Soft Tissue Fillers (2.69 million procedures, up 3%)
3. Chemical Peel (1.37 million procedures, up 1%)
4. Laser hair removal (1.1 million procedures, down 2%)
5. Microdermabrasion (740,287 procedures, down 4%)
