Paste BN magazine seeks DIY design stars
Only a few days are left to show off your home improvement skills and get featured in a special Paste BN magazine. Just send us photos of your recent do-it-yourself home design project by Wednesday, Jan. 15, and if our panel of design experts deems it the best submission, you could get featured treatment in the upcoming Paste BN Home magazine, sold on newsstands nationally.
Paste BN is looking for DIY homeowners who share our passion for great design. Big or small, from bedroom to kitchen to living room to basement, show us what you've got, and a panel of design experts will select the best projects.
Whether it's a home improvement or a decorative touch, we're looking for projects that were completed by you (not a contractor) in 2013, show a clever use of materials. Our panel will select the best projects to be featured in the Home magazine, with the potential for a professional magazine photo shoot.
Here's how you can submit your project for consideration:
Email photos to jbstokes@usatoday.com. For redecorating or refinishing projects, we prefer before and after photos, but if you don't have both, photos of just the finished project will be accepted.
Be sure to include:
- Your name
- The city and state where you live
- Your phone number (not for publication)
- A short description of the project, including why you chose it, how long the project took, how much it cost, materials used and when it was completed.
Deadline for submissions is Jan. 15, 2014.
By emailing your submission to Paste BN, you agree that the photos, description and your name can be used in Paste BN and Gannett print publications, Paste BN and Gannett digital platforms and Paste BN and Gannett social media accounts.
