5 missing children found after day care van stolen

HOUSTON — An Amber Alert issued Wednesday evening for five missing children has been canceled.

Five children were left alone in their day care vehicle at a Jack in the Box fast-food restaurant when the car was stolen with the children inside.

Investigators located the suspect, children and stolen vehicle around 9:15 p.m. CT.

Deputies said the suspect driving the stolen van with the kids inside stopped for authorities and didn't resist arrest.
